Administration (cloud)

Only administrators may access Administration in LobbyCentral. LobbyCentral administrators have access to all areas except System Options.

Super admins may only access System Options, as it contains the global settings for your LobbyCentral account. Super admins have access to all areas of LobbyCentral.

Accessing Administration

  1. In the menu toolbar, hover pointer over Tools.
  2. Click Administration from the drop-down menu.

Queues & Services

Create and manage the locations, queues, and services for LobbyCentral

Manage Locations A physical building, which contains at least one queue. May sometimes be separated by location within one building.
Manage Visit Reasons
The reason the customer has come into your building. Visit reasons/ services are added to a queue, and selected by the customer upon checking in, to alert users why they are there.
Manage Queues
A queue contains a group of waiting customers for an area. Customers in each queue are grouped in order of check-in time.

Manage Users Any employee set up with a LobbyCentral account.

General

Create and manage settings in LobbyCentral

Data Tables Contains custom options that are used in various menus within LobbyCentral.
Custom Fields User created fields used to obtain additional information from the customer during check-in.
Notification Email Allows you to override and customize the default email notification, sent to users when a customer checks in.
Agent Counters Used by QMonitor to instruct a customer to report to a specific window or counter, when the customer’s name is called.
Badge Inventory Users may create an inventory of Visitor Badges, including badge number, access level, access area, and whether the badge has been issued.
Restricted Individuals List
notifies users at their workstation, via LobbyCentral, that a restricted individual has checked in. For the safety of all employees, the customer is not alerted that they are on a restricted list.
Blocked Date/Times
Administrator can block full or partial days for appointments. May create recurring days/times to block.

Kiosk 

General settings and options for web kiosk

Global Settings
Used to customize the self-service check-in system for your customers.
Kiosk Profiles
Profiles allow a User to login to kiosk using preset settings instead of having to remember which options to select whenever the kiosk is started.
Language Sets
User created language sets allow foreign speaking customers to check-in using their native language.
Auto-Assignment Rules
User defined rules to automatically assign a customer to a specific user at check-in.
Card Swipe Profiles
Card reader setup for the web kiosk. iPad is not supported.
Poll Management
Create simple polls to gather information from customers. Displays at the kiosk after check-in is completed.

Digital Ads
A digital signage display for the waiting area that is capable of rotating image-based ads and messages.

LobbyView
Web page widget that shows current waiting conditions for specific locations and/or queues; viewable on both desktop and mobile devices
ExpressLobby
Mobile-web application designed for iPhone and Android phone which allows customers to check-in as if they were using a lobby kiosk, and then wait in their vehicle or other area for their name to be called
Callback Queue
Online queue that holds customers requesting a call for their issue or question

System 

Global settings and options for LobbyCentral. A ll users must be logged out of the system before making changes in this section
System Options
Contains features that affect the system as a whole, and should only be changed when all users have been logged out.
Customer File Import
Used to bulk import your customers into LobbyCentral Cloud.
Third-Party Integration
Setup allows Users to integrate their Outlook Calendars with LobbyCentral. A LobbyCentral Plus, or Corporate subscription is required for email integration.
Audit Log Tracks user events in LobbyCentral, such as deleted customers, changed passwords, etc.
