Manage Locations

LobbyCentral defines a Location as a physical building, which contains at least one queue.

Create a Location

  1. Login to your LobbyCentral account and go to Tools > Administration > Manage Locations in the menu.
  2. Select New Location.
  3. Enter the name of the location.
  4. Set the maximum wait time for customers.
  5. Set the location’s time zone.
  6. Enter the address and phone number for the location.
  7. Select the Operation Hours tab
  8. Enter your operating hours. Note: Be sure to double check that AM and PM are set properly for opening and closing.
  9. Click Save.

Modifying a Location

You must have Supervisor or Administrative access to LobbyCentral, in order to modify a location.

  1. Login to your LobbyCentral account and go to Tools > Administration > Manage Locations in the menu.
  2. Find the location to update and click Modify.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting a Location

  1. Login to your LobbyCentral account and go to Tools > Administration > Manage Locations in the menu.
  2. Find the location to remove and click Delete.
  3. Confirm.

Note: A location cannot be deleted after service requests have been created there, or if queues / users have been assigned to it. To prevent the location from appearing in drop-down menus, change the status to Inactive.
