Chromium-based Web Browsers
On September 21, 2021, a change was made to all web browsers using the Chromium web engine, preventing audio and video from automatically playing on a web page. This change impacts LobbyCentral's notification alert.
Some browsers may not give the option to whitelist websites or turn off that feature. In that case, you will need to switch to a different browser.
Microsoft Edge gives users the ability to whitelist LobbyCentral, or other sites, in order to disable this block.
- To whitelist LobbyCentral in Edge, go to Settings.
- Search 'Audio' and scroll down to Media Autoplay.
- In Media Autoplay, add the three URLs in the screenshot below.
Once the URLs are entered your LobbyCentral notifications should resume.
