Next-In-Line Text Messaging

Next-In-Line Text Messaging allows customers to receive a text message notification after an employee moves the customer from the wait list, to In-Service.

To enable this feature, first make sure all employees are logged out of LobbyCentral. 

  1. Login as an administrator, and go to Tools > Administration > System Options.
  2. Select the Notification tab.
  3. Under Notification Options, click the box next to "Allow customer to receive a 'next-in-line' text message." 
  4. Save changes.

Note: Enabling this feature gives customers the option to be notified by text message. It is not currently possible to require a mobile number for text message notification. 

The customer receives the option to enter their mobile number at the kiosk, just before confirming check-in.
