Enabling next-in-line text messaging
LobbyCentral offers a feature which allows your customer to receive a text message when an employee takes their name from the waiting list.
First make sure all employees are logged out of LobbyCentral. You will need to login as an administrator, and go to Tools > Administration > System Options.
Select the Notification tab, in Notification Options, click the box for "Allow customer to receive a 'next-in-line' text message." Save your changes.
Please keep in mind this gives customers the option to be notified by text message.
They are not required to enter their mobile number, so if they do not do this, they will not receive a message.
