Desktop Notifier download (cloud)
How it works
Desktop Alert is a Windows program that is installed on your PC and notifies you when a customer
check-in and displays the total number of pending check-ins.
This application will run even if you are not logged into the web portal.
Download and Installation
- Click the link: https://lobbycentralcloud.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/release/DesktopNotifier/1.3.1/Desktop+Notifier.zip
- Unzip the downloaded file and run the setup program
For Windows 10 & Windows 11 Users, App notifications must be enabled in Windows to see pop-up notifications
- In Windows, go to Settings->System->Notifications
- Turn Notifications On
- Turn Do Not Disturb Off
If DND is enabled, message alerts from the Desktop Notifier will not be seen.
Configuration
The user will be prompted to configure the monitoring preferences, the first time the program is accessed.
- Enter your Company ID.
- Select your location.
- Enter your Username and Password
- Click Save
- Click YES to restart the program.
Closing the Program
To close the program, right-click on the widget and choose Exit LobbyCentral Desktop Alerts.
Changing Options
To change notification options, including your username or password, right-click on the widget and choose Options.
