What is the difference between an Account Number and an Internal Customer ID?

Account Number

An identifying number that can be assigned to multiple customer records. It is not a unique number.

The Account number is created in the Accounts tab of the Customer Record.

When a customer enters their account number at the kiosk, LobbyCentral searches for a match of this number in the system.

Internal Customer ID
A number which can be assigned to only one customer. This number is a unique identifier and can not be shared with others.
The Internal Customer ID can be found in the Properties tab of the Customer Record.
When the customer badge swipe feature is used, and the customer swipes their ID at the kiosk, LobbyCentral searches for a match of the customer's first and last name, and/or this number in the system.
