General Settings
QMonitor Settings allows the user to customize the notification message displayed when a customer name is selected from the wait list. Use tags to quickly, and easily, insert information.
Customize Notification Message
- Login to LobbyCentral with your admin account
- Go to Tools > QMonitor - General Settings
- Type your custom message in the text box.
- Select the tag(s) you wish to use and click Insert Tag in the appropriate space in the text.
- LobbyCentral will insert the tag into your text. The message should look something like the below screenshot.
- Save when finished.
Voice Announcements (BETA)
You can now use voice announcements in QMonitor DS by enabling them in QMonitor General Settings. Voice Announcements are currently in BETA.
Voice announcements are not currently available in QMonitor Classic.
Once enabled, a female voice will direct the customer where to go after the customer's name has been moved to in-service. Just as with the notification message, you may customize the verbiage of the announcement by entering it in Announcement Format (see above screenshot).
Note: it is best to keep the message brief and avoid long announcements.
QMonitor and LineReserve
An "R" displayed next to the time, in-line with the customer's name, shows that the customer made a LineReservation online, and checked in with the reservation before the time limit set. These customers will be placed in line according to the time they made the reservation. See screenshot:
