Report Manager & CSV/Excel Report Generator (on-premise)

LobbyCentral contains over 30 predefined reports that cover a wide array of information for the user. Reports provide information in table and graph format, and can be saved in a variety of formats, including PDF, Word, and Excel.

If you cannot find a report with the specific analytics you need, you can use the CSV /Excel Report Generator, to create and export custom reports into CSV formatted files. You can also save the custom report, so that it will be available each time you need to run it.

NoteYour account must have administrative rights to access Report Manager, or user account permissions given by the administrator.

Run Report in Report Manager

  1. In the menu, go to Reports > Report Manager.
  2. Select a report from the report list.
  3. Click Run. 
  4. Some reports contain options that allow you to filter data by date, location, user, queue, wait time, etc. Enter the filter options for the report. 
  5. Click Run Report.

Using CSV/ Excel Report Generator to Create Custom Report

  1. In the menu, go to Reporting > CSV/Excel Report Generator.
  2. Select New Report (default).
  3. Select the report Start Date.
  4. Select the report End Date.
  5. Select the Location. 
  6. Select the Customer Queues.
  7. Select the Work Queues.
  8. In Fields, click the drop-down menu to select the report field(s), and click Add Field for each. 
  9. In Custom Fields, click on the drop-down menu to select the report custom field(s), and click Add Field for each. 
  10. Enter the email address in which to send the report.
  11. Name the Report to save for future use (optional).
  12. Click Run.

Edit Saved CSV/Excel Generated Report 

  1. In Reporting > CSV/Excel Report Generator, select the saved Report from the drop-down menu.
  2. Make desired changes.
  3. Click Run.
  4. LobbyCentral will ask if you would like to save the changes to the report. Click Yes.

Delete Custom CSV/Excel Generated Report

  1. In Reporting > CSV/Excel Report Generator, select the saved Report from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click Ok, to confirm.

Creating Custom Reports Using the Report Writer Tool

On-Premise customers, may also create, or modify existing reports using the LobbyCentral Report Writer tool. Report Writer is a windows program that is installed on your computer. You will need to have a basic understanding of generating SQL queries in order to use Report Writer. Fuhr Software also offers report writing services for a small fee. Upload Custom Report

  1. In Report Manager, click Upload Report.
  2. Click Choose File to select the report file from your computer.
  3. Select the folder that the report should be saved to.
  4. Click Upload Report.

Note: Your account must have permissions to upload custom reports.
