Monitoring Preferences

Color Coding

Provides a quick reference for customers, by identifying the service the customer is there for with a block of color. Color must be in HTML color code format.

Scroll Boundary

The scroll boundary indicates the maximum number of records (customer names) QMonitor will display before the screen starts to scroll. You can adjust this number to fit the maximum display size of your monitor. Larger monitors will be able to display a higher number before scrolling, whereas smaller screens will need to set the number lower.

Name Format

QMonitor allows you to display the customer's full name, or the name in short form. When enabled, the customer name can be displayed in one of three short form variations. Example: John Smith will be displayed as J/Smi, J Smith, or John S

Show Check-In Time

When Show Check-In Time is enabled, the customer's check-in time is displayed in QMonitor along with their name. The user can disable Show Check-In Time so that only the customer name is displayed after checking in.

List Display

QMonitor can be customized to display the customer name only, the customer name and call-out number, or call-out number only in the waiting list. Call-out numbers are generally used to keep a customer's name private from other lobby patrons. Generate and Present Call-Out Number must be enabled in the Administration section of LobbyCentral via Kiosk Settings.

Notification Window

The notification window is the pop-up window displayed when a customer is selected from the wait list and changed to in-service. The user can choose how to display the notification; options are customer name only, name and call-out number, or call-out number only.

Report To Option

When a customer is selected from the wait list, QMonitor displays who the customer is to report to in the notification window. QMonitor can display the employee name, the window name, or both of these.

Font Sizes

The user can customize the font sizes for company name, clock, column header, waiting row, and called row. This allows the user to adjust the size of the font according to the size of the monitor, and to enlarge desired areas to make viewing easier for customers.
